What is StreetGeek X?

StreetGeek X is an annual video gaming event run by a partnership between the not-for-profit gaming organisation StreetGeek LAN Parties and the principal event partner, the City of Unley. StreetGeek X focuses on running gaming events focusing on building the gaming community in Adelaide and promoting youth participation in this unique culture offering free entry to all attendee’s under the age of 18. StreetGeek X events are drug & alcohol free and offer family friendly events.

StreetGeek LAN Parties was first founded in 2005 as the Adelaide LANing Society of Adelaide University and fast grew into one of the largest regular running LAN events in Adelaide. In 2009, we joined forces with other LAN party organisations and held the first SAGAFest at the St Clair Recreation Centre. In 2010, StreetGeek then joined forces with the City of Unley to hold the very first StreetGeek X. Over the past 6 years, we have worked with the City of Unley to build and grow the event and it has now grown into the largest LAN party in Adelaide.

The City of Unley

StreetGeek X is all thanks to our event partner, the City of Unley. Through their generous contributions and assistance, they provide every under 18 attendee with free entry, as well as free BBQ lunch on Saturday, free dinner on Sunday and free fruit and water for all attendees throughout the entire event.
